We are going to have some fun on this thread!

I’m going to run a couple of ‘Chi-Kung’ competitions in the build up towards the Summer Camp.

For me Chi Kung is the most important aspect of my training (be it Taijiquan training or otherwise) but as we know, most of the business side of Chi Kung is unseen.

So for a change …. Let’s see it and read about it!!

OK, so the couple of little competitions I mentioned. Primarily, this is for those attending the U.K. Shaolin Summer Camp to get ‘amped up’ for their Chi Kung courses, but others are free to join in as well!!It certainly doesn’t have to be seriously competitive affair, actually it should be more ‘fun’ in nature.

So here it is

Two Little Chi Kung Competitions For Fun!

Number 1

Please post, in less than 80 words your enjoyable experiences on the following courses.

• Generating Energy Flow
• Cosmic Shower- Saturday
• Cosmic Breathing Sunday
• Sinew Metamorphosis

The most beautiful and inspiring will win, maybe we will vote together on it.
You could even write a poem if you wanted. Bring out the Scholar in you


Number 2

• Submit the best picture of someone practicing Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung you have. You can get shooting….......................... Now!

Again we can vote together on it.

2 Prizes

The two prizes will be a surprise, but they’ll be very good, I can assure you. I may post some clues along the way as to what the prizes will be.

I’ve already got one submission myself. The picture in the last post was me training on the ‘Sussex South Downs’ very close to where this years Summer Camp will be.

I'm even going to post another one to get your creative flow started, and I may even post my own experiences on the some the above courses too. But I will obviously exclude myself from the competition, that just wouldn’t be fair at all ..hehehehe

Its wonderful to see a thread on this year's Summer camp Chi Kung courses. I am absolutely delighted to have been accepted on all four of them by you and OH MY GOD am I looking forward to them! Just over three weeks to go!

Right, lets get the ball rolling with your excellent idea of a photo competition (I'm out to WIN!).
This was taken during a public demo of Chi Kung and Tai Chi in Galway a few weeks ago. The day was a lot of fun.

I've taken the Generating Energy Flow course over a dozen times. Every time I took it, Sifu improved his methodology. It's been a few years since I've taken it. I can't imagine what it's like now!

Sinew Metamorphosis (Yi Jin Jing) still has to be the WOW course (as I have called it since my first experience with it). I learned from personal experience why the course is also known as "Merging with the Cosmos" . And I took the course back in 2002. The way Sifu's teaching has developed, this one will "knock your socks off!"

How young can you start

Anyone who has met my daughter Eva will know that she is a bit special, it's not daddy being bias, it's as if she's been around before. She understands the concept of Chi at 3 years old and when she hurts herself she says she makes it better by running chi down it.

By now I have probably taken Generating Energy Flow with Sifu about 20 times and what a thrill it is each time.

The beautful sense of letting go more deeply, of not having a care in the world, the freedom, the joy, the deepest sense of peace that youi can imagine..........and that is only the first session

It does not matter if you are a complete beginner or have taken courses before, this is so profound and beautiful.

You will feel like a new person....well, you probably will be!

Your chi will be flowing, your mind clear, you will be emotionally balanced and your spirit nourished, you will feel enriched, a profound sense of happiness and joy and know that you have received a very unique gift from a very unique Grandmaster..........What more could you ask for!

I would highly recommend that if you can at all, take advantage of Sifu's beautiful presence and teachings at the UK Summer camp.
