Dear Wahnam Family and my fellow guests,
I am these days in an interesting circumstance. An expert martial artist recently arrived in New Zealand is trying to set up Kung Fu and Qigong classes. He has agreed to give me some lessons but would rather I bring along some friends who are also interested in learning with which to share his fees which are rather high for one person to pay.
Here is the quandary, most of my martially inclined friends are happy with what they are doing. In addition, they are mostly starving Uni kids like me who couldn't afford to cross-train if they wanted to. As such, I am considering taking some more proactive measures such as building a website and registering him into the local martial arts directories (with his permission, of course!). Ideally, I would use these measures to get in touch with other enthusiasts so that I could organize a class.
I am confident in my abilities to communicate and organize but any tips, comments or whatever else you feel inclined to say would be welcome and appreciated.
Best wishes,
Mike
