Is it just me, or are there others who would love to read a autobiography written by Sigung? Maybe including a biography of the lineage?
I know much is available on this in the Q&A series, but I would really, really enjoy reading such a book.
Would anybody second my opinion???
Shaolin salute,
Jim
Sigung: This is a great exercise for women, because it makes them beautiful and radiant. Student: And what does it do for men? Sigung: It makes women beautiful! Smile from the heart!
Another good book would be the adventures of Sifu Kai Jet!
I would second that! His story of searching for a master in China only to give up and then be found by Sigung right here in Germany would be quite a page-turner. The example of a well known Ju-jitsu Grandmaster giving up his art to become a student of kungfu is the main reason that I've never questioned the authenticity, effectiveness, and depth of our kung fu.
I do believe that your Sigung has a manuscript of his autobiography waiting to be published.
That's great! Thanks for the insider information.
A big thank you to both of my Sisooks,
Jim

I did a year or so ago and he said he was writing one, not sure if it was on his story or other aspects of the depth of Kung Fu. So many books he could write and all would be a great read.
I'll guess the obvious: It's comming out very very soon?? Next month?
Sigung: This is a great exercise for women, because it makes them beautiful and radiant. Student: And what does it do for men? Sigung: It makes women beautiful! Smile from the heart!
If no one else wants to have a crack at it, I'll give it another go.
Sigung's book will include a detailed history of his predecessors in the lineage and a history of the school.
-or-
After writing his autobiography he will write the biographies of Si Tai Gung Ho Fatt Nam and Si Tai Gung Lai Chin Wah.
I'm I getting close?
Salute,
Jim

Thank you Sigung Wong; the teachings you have passed down to us are greater blessings than we can ever repay. Furthermore, the true stories from your Q&A and books have provided me with real inspiration that improves my practice. I really look forward to reading more.
With humble respect,
Jim

Sifu has kindly sent me the first chapter of his autobiography, and has given me permission to post it in this thread in installments.
That's wonderful news. Thank you Sigung for generously sharing this chapter with us.
And thank you Robin Sisook and all those who have been taking part in the thread for creating the opening.
Andrea, looking very much forward to to read the first installment.
Enjoy some Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan & Qi Gong!
