  • sifu's new york course

    Hello everybody!

I have just completed Sifu's courses that he taught over this past weekend in New York. I waited a few days to post a review as I find it difficult to come up with the words to describe just how incredible and life changing this weekend was. This was my first time meeting with Sifu Wong and I was completely blown away. He is the kindest happiest man I have ever seen. Just thinking of him makes me smile. His knowledge is incredible and he will serve as motivation for me as long as I live.
The exercises taught were the 18 lohan hands and Dan tien breathing. In the beginning my mind was a little busy and I found it hard to relax and let go. By the end of the second day I had reached states of stillness I never before experienced. My body was loose and relaxed and my mind was clear and sharp. I was filled with vitality and joy. I can't explain how happy I am. I feel as though Sifu has given me my life back and I can finally have a meaningful happy existense. Anyone who thinks that I am exaggerating must not have actually taken a course with Sifu. I have practiced every day without fail since I came home. Just about 15-20 mintues twice a day. Now I was truly shocked and amazed at the power generated in such a short amount of time. When I first came here I honestly didn't believe you guys when you were all talking about what you gain from such a seemingly short session. I was previously practicing about 7 hours daily and still could not achieve what I am able to now in 15 simple minutes!!!! I kid you not 7 hours a day! The gratitude I feel at being able to train with such a master and in such an incredible art is immeasurable. I don't think I can ever repay it. All I can do is hope to one day be able to teach myself and for the time being tell everyone I know that may be open to it!!!! I would also like to thank Eugene for bringing Sifu here. Anthony K. For all the help you gave me. I appreciate it more than you know my friend. Mark Blohm, its great to see another my age attaining such wonderful things. Your an inspiration. I hope to train more with you in the future. Also, Anthony S. You were lots of fun to talk with and quite helpful. Thank you for the help! Also, all the other instructors that were present for being so helpful and friendly. You guys were so welcoming it truly feels like family. Not sure how to refer to you guys so I just used your names. Please let me know what the proper way to address you is :-)
Also, thanks to all the great people that attended that I got to speak with. Everyone was so friendly and kind, ahhh so much fun!
Well, I guess thats enough for now. I keep wanting to say more but words really do no justice to this wonderful experience. Thank you!! And Sifu if you happend to read this, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

    Greeting from Indonesia

    Hello Sean,

Thank you for your heart warming post.

Welcome to the International Wahnam Family.

Your writing reminds me of my first three days with Sifu in our Chikung Course. Yes, the best three days of my life.

    Enjoy your chi flow.

This statement is an important one for all non Wahnam members who still have trouble in believing what is said regularly on this forum.

Sean came here as a guest full of doubt and skepticism. In his own words, he didn't believe us. He couldn't intellectually grasp the essence of what was said here by Wahnam students until he experienced the art with Sifu. Now he experiences peace, joy, internal energy and others wonderful results are on their way. Doubt and skepticism have vanished and the truth now shines.

This testimonial is another invitation for all newcomers to come and taste the fragrance of the rose, instead of intellectually arguing whether it smells good or not.

Thank you for reading, and welcome to the Family Sean.

      Kind regards,

      Maxime

        Gradual Progress

        Dear Sean,

Thank you for your kind words. While speaking with you at the course I could tell that you had an attitude worthy of a good student. Now that you've been given the tools, make sure to practice well. And definitely take advantage of Anthony Siheng's generous offer to teach in New York.

As for family titles, refer to the Chinese Terminology section of the forum.

        Sincerely,

        Mark

"Then how could chi kung overcome diseases where the cause is unknown or when there is no cure? The question is actually incorrect. The expressions "the cause is unknown" and "there is no cure" are applicable only in the Western medical paradigm. The expressions no longer hold true in the chi kung paradigm. In the chi kung paradigm the cause is known, and there is a cure."

Thank so much for all the great replies. A very nice family welcoming! Feels like I am coming home after a long trip away

Maxime, what you post is so true. Makes you wonder how many times in the past has the intellectual mind kept you from true treasures. Im glad though that mine was a healthy skepticism and I was willing to open myself to new learning and training or I would have missed this incredible opportunity. To many have unhealthy skepticism and just wish to prove others wrong and in turn get nowhere. Any newcomers out there reading this just attend one course with Sifu, no matter how much you think you know. Just one and you will be joyfully rewarded.

Mark, you don't even have to wonder if I will be training with Anthony Siheng when he comes to New York. I will most definitely be there!!!! Hope you can make it down sometimes! and thanks so much for pointing me to the terminology information.

Cha muir, You can certainly bet I have been dancing my friend!

I would also like to mention that I brought my mother to the course. She is in her fifties and was not doing so well. She had not manifested any illness yet but she was very tired and looking extremely drained and lifeless. Her eyes were unclear and I was sure it was just a matter of time before she became very sick. This had disturbed me for a while so when I saw Sifu was coming to New York I made sure to work extra hours to get her to the seminar as well as myself. She was totally transformed. She has not been tired like she was and she looks like a new person. In fact, when she returned to work one of her co-workers passed her in the hall and said that she looks like a different person! This shocked my mother of course The dead giveaway is her eyes. They are so much clearer and lively. She practices everyday twice a day as well and I am confident that she will be living a happy healthy vital life for a long time to come. Not to long ago I could not have said that. Another thing to thank Sifu for

Thanks again for the wonderful welcoming. Blessings and chi flow for everybody!
