    1. COMPLETE BOOK OF CHINESE MEDICINE.
The Complete Book of Chinese Medicine is the result of years of research and study by a world renowned Shaolin Grandmaster, Sifu Wong Kiew Kit, who has an excellent track record in curing many so-called incurable diseases like cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, sexual inadequacy, kidney failure, rheumatism and asthma using qiqong therapy.

The aim of this exciting book is to introduce the wonderful and unique concept behind Chinese medicine. Sifu Wong's command of both the Chinese and English Language has made this book possible as meanings are often lost or misinterpreted during translation.

    The book includes:

•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp The history, development and the main features of Chinese Medicine.
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Strategies and tactics when diagnosing and treating patients.
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp How modern societies, including western medical doctors and research scientists, can benefit from a deeper and holistic understanding of Chinese Medicine.
    •&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Case studies.

    2.&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp The Complete Book of Shaolin

Yet it is written in a language easy to understand. Profound concepts and difficult techniques are explained systematically with many illustrations. It includes:

•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp The Background and Scope of Kungfu
    •&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Form and Combat applications
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Principles and Methods of Force Training
    •&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Energy Training and Mind Training
    •&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Secrets of the Masters
    •&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Traditional Chinese Weapons
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Maintaining one's Health and Vitality and the Healing of so-called incurable diseases.
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Interesting stories and Legends of Shaolin
    •&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Zen and Spiritual Development

3.&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Master Answer Series: The Shaolin Arts.

The Master Answers Series is a selection of answers to questions written by various people all over the world to Sifu Wong, who is a celebrated Shaolin Grandmaster.

•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp An in depth study of these arts, including form and internal force training, energy management and healing, weapons, strategies, tactics, spiritual joy, and meditation to achieve Enlightenment, which is the ultimate prize.
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Case studies to prove that practitioners of these arts, especially qiqong, can successfully overcome so-called incurable diseases, maintain their health and manage stress effectively.
•&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Stories on "Satori" or Awakening experienced by Sifu Wong's students and disciples.

    4.&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Sukhavati: The Western Paradise.

    SUKHAVATI: THE WESTERN PARADISE

Sakyamuni Buddha taught the Amitabha Sutra over 2000 years ago. It is one of the most important Sutras in Mahayana Buddhism. It teaches how a person can be reborn in Sukhavati, also known as The Western Paradise of Eternal Bliss.

In Sukhavati, Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit, explains the principles and practice of Pure Land Buddhism. He introduces and comments on the various Sutras and Mantras that are important to Pure Land practitioners.

    It includes:

·&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Amitabha Buddha and the description of Sukhavati
    ·&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Majestic Grandeur of Buddhism
·&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in every direction
    ·&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Heaven and Enlightenment

    Author Profile

Wong Kiew Kit, popularly known as Sifu Wong, is the fourth generation successor of Venerable Jiang Nan from the famous Shaolin Monastery in China and Grandmaster of Shaolin Wahnam Institute of Kungfu and Qiqong. He received the "Qiqong Master of the Year" Award during the Second World Congress on Qiqong held in San Francisco in 1997.

He is an internationally acclaimed author of books on the Shaolin arts and Buddhism including Introduction to Shaolin Kung Fu (1981), The Art of Qiqong (1993), The Art of Shaolin Kung Fu (1996), The Complete Book of Tai Chi Chuan (1996), Chi Kung for Health and Vitality (1997), The Complete Book of Zen (1998), The Complete Book of Chinese Medicine (2002), The Complete Book of Shaolin (2002), Sukhavati: The Western Paradise (2002) and The Shaolin Arts (2002).

Since 1987, Sifu Wong has spent more time teaching qiqong than kungfu, because he feels that while kungfu serves as an interesting hobby, qiqong serves an urgent public need, particularly in overcoming degenerative and psychiatric illnesses.

Sifu Wong is one of the few masters who have generously introduced the once secretive Shaolin Qiqong to the public, and has helped many people to obtain relieve or overcome so-called "incurable" diseases like hypertension, asthma, rheumatism, arthritis, diabetes, migraine, gastritis, gall stones, kidney failure, depression, anxiety and even cancer.

He stresses the Shaolin philosophy of sharing goodness with all humanity, and is now dedicated to spreading the wonders and benefits of the Shaolin arts to people all over the world irrespective of race, culture and religion.

Buying from amazon - Postal charges query

        Dan,

I have a (stupid probably...) question to ask.... Sorry in advance!

I wish to purchase 2 books:

The Complete Book of Shaolin - £14.99
        Sukhavati-Western Paradise - £11.99

If I am correct.... You can only order 1 book at a time (there is no shopping basket) so is it ok to order 'The Complete Book of Shaolin' with the £3.50 P&P added and then order 'Sukhavati-Western Paradise' with the £1.50 P&P added?

        Many thanks,

        Jordan

              The complete book of Shaolin

I did Karate for 4 years between the ages of 7 and 11 but quit because I felt that my class was not teaching me to my full potential and that the school was awarding out belts just to make the school look powerful. I left when my elder brother got a black belt when he was only 12. I disagreed strongly with that because he was definatly not black belt material, he would never have been able to defend himself against an adult.
Many Martial arts schools I tried in England we're like that, so i decided to teach myslef Kung Fu. I bought a copy of The Complete Book of Shaolin and would like to thank you Sifu Wong Kiew Kit. Not only has the book taught me alot about the Kung Fu, Chi Kung and Zen it has also taught me alot about myself.
After trying the Chi control exercises I have become a lot more motivated and after reading the Zen pages I have become particularly interested in Buddhism.
I would definatly advise ANY martial artist to pick up this book because it helps you to aim for something higher than belts or high grades. It helps you to attain the level that you CAN and WILL acheive.
              Thank you again Sifu

                The Complete Book of Shaolin

                Dear John,

Welcome to the Forum for the Shaolin Wahnam School of Chi Kung and Kungfu.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed Sifu Wong’s The Complete Book of Shaolin and you have started training on your own.

Do be careful with some of the exercises especially those that are pertaining to chi kung. Many who train without a master’s supervision have inevitably injured themselves.

Therefore I would like to suggest that you invest in a copy of The Shaolin Arts.

In this book, Sifu Wong addressed many frequently asked questions pertaining to training, sparring and other relevant details. Some who have injured themselves while training on their own have also asked for Sifu’s advice.

Mind training is essential if you want to achieve the highest levels of the Shaolin Arts. Therefore, do not forget to meditate regularly. This was one of Sifu Wong’s advice when I first started training.

However, meditation is a skill that must be developed over time. Some techniques may require the supervision of a master.

Sifu Wong has dedicated a section to this subject in The Shaolin Arts. In this section you can read about the benefits of meditation, as illustrated by articles that were contributed our fellow students, the obstacles that they face and the techniques to overcome these obstacles.

In the section on Buddhism, there are stories about students who have achieved “satori” or awakening in their zen training.

Since you are interested in Buddhism, I would also like to recommend Sukhavati: Western Paradise.

In this book, Sifu Wong there is a copy of the Amitabha Sutra that has been translated into English. This school of thought is very popular in Asia. In the Dharma Ending Age, which is the age we are currently in, this is a very important scripture.

Some might argue that Pure Land Buddhism is different from Zen.

However, many masters, including zen masters, beg to differ. At the highest level, they are the same. You can read the commentaries by these masters in Chapter 19.

We hope you attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi soon.

                Best Wishes,
                Kind Dragon

Re: The Complete Book of Shaolin

                  Hi,

My first contact with Sifu Wong's books was in April, when my mother, who knew I had become interested in the topic, gave me "The Complete Book of Zen" as a birthday present. I really enjoyed that book! I had this sensation of having found something I had been looking for for a long time.
I liked it so much that I immediately looked for other books authored by Wong Kiew Kit and I bought "The Art of Chi Kung" and "Chi Kung for Health and Vitality".

I have ordered "The Art of Shaolin Kung-Fu" and "The Complete Book of Shaolin". They look really interesting. I guess I'll end up buying all books by Wong Kiew Kit ;-)

                  Best Wishes from Spain,
                  Diego
