I believe that there will be one Intensive Chi Kung Course before the Intensive Taijiquan Course in Penang in April, and one before the Intensive Shaolin Kung Fu Course in Sabah in July.
Though these courses stand alone as "Masters level skill" courses!
If you are going to the course in Sabah, my wife and I will see you there!
"Then how could chi kung overcome diseases where the cause is unknown or when there is no cure? The question is actually incorrect. The expressions "the cause is unknown" and "there is no cure" are applicable only in the Western medical paradigm. The expressions no longer hold true in the chi kung paradigm. In the chi kung paradigm the cause is known, and there is a cure."

Intensive Chi Kung Course 12-16 July 2012 , Sabah , Malaysia.
Dear All ,
There are 2 airports at the coastal city of Kota Kinabalu ( KK) : Air Asia flights land & depart at terminal 2 while all other flights ( Malaysian Airlines , Cathay Pacific etc ) at main terminal .
The 2 terminals are 10 minutes drive apart and both have official airport taxis for the 1.5 hours drive from KK to the course venue hotel ( Perkasa Hotel Kundasang or it's new name Mount Kinabalu Resort ) .
Call me at mobile phone no. +6019-8623295 if you need help while in KK .
My wife, Lara, is getting ready to leave for Sabah tomorrow. I will look from the yacht club to check if I can see Mt. Kinabalu from there. If not, no matter--I will be with you in spirit.
As always, thanks to Sifu for his tireless teaching and touring the globe; and special thanks to the Siheng, Dr. Damian Kissey and family for organizing and hosting this fantastic course.
Have a great time, everyone!
Yours,
Charles

So, after the Intensive Shaolin Kung Fu Course the Intensive Shaolin Chi Kung Course seemed already so far away, but now it’s time to write a short review.
By choosing three of the best techniques (of course Lifting the sky, Pushing mountains and Carrying the moon), Sifu managed to highlight the importance of the difference between techniques and skills.
The first skills were Entering a Chi Kung state of mind and Generating Energy Flow with Lifting the sky.
Later we built up internal force with a gentle Chi Flow after practicing Pushing mountains and used the force for running around in the hall. Of course the force can be used for everything like sports, work or Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan.
We generated a Cosmic Shower for healing and nourishment by practicing Carrying the moon and later also with Lifting the sky to demonstrate that every skill can be used with every technique, although some techniques are relatively more effective for different skills.
Sifu taught us how to control our Chi Flow with a gentle thought from small to vigorous movement and vice versa and also how to direct chi to internal organs or anywhere in the body (Reminder: never to the heart or to the brain!)
The combination of all three exercises at increasing speed was used to gain momentum for a vigorous session of Selfmanifested Chi Movement.
We learned how to start a Chi Flow without even practicing first, which worked even for fresh beginners. It had taken me quite some time to acquire this skill myself by practicing diligently, so it is really amazing that Sifu transmitted it directly at the course.
We used our mental clarity from our Chi Kung state of mind to solve problems which worked really well for many students. It was interesting to find out after the session, that for the advanced students (and me too) it was the biggest problem to find a problem to solve at all. After practicing Chi Kung for some time it becomes second nature not to get overwhelmed by problems anymore and the solving comes spontaneously and instantly.
And like this all would not be enough we put our mind to our Dantian and expanded into the cosmos. Many of the students had deep spiritual experiences. After sending blessings and forgiving we ended up with a feeling of gratefulness and joy.
My personal highlight was when we put our practice to the supposed lower level of form. We practiced Carrying the moon and Sifu told us repeatedly to “don’t worry about the breathing”. I did as I was told and noticed that my breathing had stopped completely. I wasn’t breathing anymore. Energy flowing in took care of this seemingly essential life function for the whole session. I had experienced Cosmic Breathing before, but never for so long. Being in tune with the energy of the cosmos felt so wonderful and I was very happy with my progress afterwards.
It was great to see how quickly everyone changed and blossomed throughout the few days.
Although I had not met anyone in person before, attending a Wahnam course feels like meeting your loving aunt who moved to Australia before you were born. Our Shaolin brothers and sisters are everywhere. We just have to meet them to have a great time together.
Thanks again to the incredible Kissey family for organizing this amazing course and of course to Sifu for passing on the originally secretive Shaolin arts and skills in an instant so generously.

That's exactly how it feels - beautifully described!
Another beautiful get-together with Sifu’s gracious presence and generosity to include the Sabah courses in his busy schedule. Thank you Sifu.

It was great to meet again ! Thank you Lara for baking the cookies and sweets and carrying 5 boxes all the way to Kundasang and for listening . Thank you Des (5 times Sabah returnee) for being there at the tours and a smiling Brahim for being ever ready to lend a hand. Thank you Mathilda & Sophia (who missed 2 weeks of school) for ‘hanging out time’ in the lobby . Special mention to our faithful official transporter of a decade now, Timothy, for being on time rain or shine. Thank you too Mark & YuHua for the support. And Andreas for water shopping & pushing laden supermarket trolley !
To All who braved the durian fruit sampling, thank you for sharing the fun . To brothers Andreas, Tapio, Diederick and Chow ~ my little yellow bug is now a superbug thanks to your Chi flow, it now zips through traffic jam and parking space appear magically . Brother Sean , sorry for not meeting you this time, I hope you found the vanilla pod.
Of course, thank you to big brothers Damian, Emanuel, Godfrey and sister Rosaline, the backbone organisers as always. And our smiling 87 year young Dad

… No immediate ‘problem’ or ‘solution’ came , I let my mind flow to ordinary activity and I thought of baking…
After the course, and saying farewell (for now) one by one , and last of all waving to sister Vero yesterday (and bawling in the airport carpark ) ..
Today I was making sugar flowers for a cake, with my mind still at the course, when suddenly I realized my hands were moving so fast and precisely ~ cutting , molding , shaping the flowers ~ I looked at my hands (and the hair stood on my neck!) , I look at the clock and realized I have been standing for 5 hours straight . I did my exercise and chi flow (and more bawling) . Thank you sister Lisa who called for 30mins all the way from Sydney.
To all the course attendees, thank you for your wonderful friendship. Godbless.
Perhaps it’s early days yet but I mentioned to Siheng Damian about the amazing experiences I had after the recent Intensive Chi Kung and he kindly encouraged me to share here.
Firstly I fell ill about 3 years ago which necessitated taking prolonged medication. I was prescribed 21 pills every day to take for several months. Again with Siheng Damian’s medical care and encouragement to continue with my daily exercise, I managed to overcome the illness in a month and stopped taking the medication in 2 months instead of the expected 9 months. This was confirmed by medical tests. Some of the steroids caused other side effects such as elevated blood pressure, severe headaches, eczema, water retention, and some degree of hearing loss. I also started to wear glasses.
During the recent course, my eyes especially the right one (which has a higher degree) became very red. I remember two of the participants kindly offered me some eye ointment. All throughout the course and tours, I couldn’t judge the ground clearly, as if it was floating towards or moving away from me. The funny part was I left my spectacles at home. To cut my story short, after coming back to work, I put on my glasses and immediately my vision blurred, well I thought, I needed a new pair. I removed them and …I could actually read without them! This was 3 days ago, today I know for certain I can read clearly without them.
Again I want to share how amazing I feel this past week doing my favorite pastime that is baking and decorating with handmade sugar flowers. I was anxious about several cake orders which were just a few days after the course. During the course, when Sifu asked us to clear our mind and ask a question, I let my mind flow to the small everyday things. Back home in the kitchen once more after the course, I was shocked when I realized my hands started to flow, cutting and molding the flowers. I was staring at my hands and had goose bumps! What used to take me 2 weeks of night work now I accomplished in a night and standing for some 6 hours straight. I also realized that I was not fretting about the cake design details and colors, it came to me!
I have been blessed in many other seemingly small ways. Open your heart , Smile… I can hear Sifu’s voice booming joyously. It brings a new meaning every time to me.
Thank you Sifu for Everything. Thank you to my wonderful family for the support and love.
From the heart,
Bernie
N.B. I must mention again that I drove my tiny superbug with my red eyes and I believe it was powered by the chi flow of the KF brothers and sister, because we flowed through traffic jam and lights which were not functioning and parking space appeared easily in an otherwise premium parking areas. Thank you all.
I really enjoyed reading your post about your experiences. How wonderful! Congratulations on achieving such amazing benefits. You must be practicing very well indeed :-)
