I read the recent debate with interest. When I did the intensive course in Limerick I found the noisy flows of several of the people very disconcerting. It make it difficult to relax and get into my own flow, as I was always aware of them, and had to keep my eyes open to avoid being bumped into.
When I again trained with the Wahnam Institute in Tralee, I found it easier to cope with the noisier chi flows around me, as I am more used to the Wahnam forms, and able to get into the flows more quickly.
I am still however am not convinced that it is necessary to be noisy and stomp about each time you do a flow.
Chi kung is an internal art. Isn't running around and shouting external?
Your comments could be interesting!
Obviously if you are releasing energy blockages you may be "moved" to run about - roar like a tiger, walk like a bear, make faces like a monkey etc, but every time?
