I have been following this thread. I wanted to post now but not sure what to say - but as a book by Dainin Katagiri suggested "you have to say something".
May there be many blessings, may the music of life resonate and bring joy, may we all bring a warm glow of peace to the world, to the best of our ability.
The following is a statement kindly issued by Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit, with regards to Master Yap Soon Yeong's acknowledgement in post 120 of this thread.
Dear Master Yap,
Thank you for the kind words you have mentioned in your recent post.
As it has often been said in their various posts by Shaolin Wahnam members in this thread, despite some differences in our philosophy and methodology we have no ill feelings at all towards you or any CFQ members.
We sincerely wish you and other CFQ members well in your daily life as well as in your effort to spread your teaching and benefits to other people.
Best wishes.
Wong Kiew Kit.

Since being given the honour and privilege of becoming an instructor within the Shaolin Wahnam Institute, many people have asked me if I enjoy what I do. The answer is always a resounding 'Yes'. I take my responsibilities towards my students very seriously and if ever I stop doing this, I will cease being an Instructor and true to my school.
My duties are not only to my students, but also to my beloved Sifu, my Shaolin Wahnam brothers and sisters and to the institute.
Sifu has instilled in each of us a huge sense of respect, integrity and morality, both for ourselves and for others. When we feel that something is 'not quite right' it is our duty to investigate further and get to the root cause of the problem-- a little like the chi!
My Shaolin Wahnam brothers and sisters and I have tried to conduct this investigation openly, sincerely and as courteously as we possibly could. The nature of the thread may have upset some people, for which we are sorry, but we have always answered with respect. Respect is an essential aspect of our school and of THE TEN SHAOLIN LAWS.
Personally, I feel very blessed to have found a Sifu who is honourable and openhearted. A Sifu who leads by example, which in turn, gives us a strong and sturdy foundation in our training and in life.
In Shaolin Wahnam, the spirit of openheartedness is obvious. Students are not discouraged from visiting or learning from other schools, systems or masters. But when a student finds two systems which are incompatible with each other as Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung and CFQ, then they must make a decision on which path to follow. The student is not required to choose for our benefit (we do not persuade them to stay with Shaolin Wahnam) but for his/her own benefit. Whatever they decide, they receive our heartiest and sincerest best wishes.
I sincerely wish to thank Master Yap Soon Yeong, Dr Chok C Hiew, Sharon and
other members of CFQ for joining in the thread with their comments and
views. I also sincerely appreciate Master Yap Soon Yeong's apology on his comments about our forum and his acknowledgement of Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit's ability and accomplishments.
However, we feel that despite their kind gestures the CFQ Organisation has still not addressed the main issues which made this thread necessary. Nevertheless, we would not deliberate further but close this chapter behind us and move on.
I sincerely wish many blessings on Master Yap Soon Yeong and his students. I
hope that the thread has given everybody more clarity with regards to our
school and our values.
Best wishes,
Joan
