Iron Wire and Taming the Tiger sets taught by Sifu in Helsinki, Jan 2010
Sigh! All that I am missing.....I am simply not able to get away from the office and family for more than a week. I don't regret applying for the Small universe course which has always been a must-do item for me, but to think I will miss the great review courses and now the Iron Wire set... Sob sob.
It was a wonderful to have the opportunity to teach the Iron-Wire Set to interested and deserving students last week during the Wedding Celebration week in Penang.
The students made a lot of interesting and inspiring comments about the course both during and outside of class.
I hope participants can take the time to comment here. I think that others will find the comments interesting.
Firstly I would like to thank Sifu for sharing these arts with us.
Secondly I would like to thank Siheng Anthony for initially teaching me the Iron Wire set at the Wing Choon course in May of this year.
It really is an amazing set for internal force training and I would encourage everyone who has the opportunity to attend this course to seize the opportunity.
I also attended the Iron Wire course that Siheng Anthony held during the Wedding Ceremony Courses. It really was beneficial to attend the course again and to share experiences with other members of the family.
Since attending the course in May I have noticed a definite improvement in my Kung Fu training. Not only that but I have also noticed a definite improvement in my daily work and life activities. My ability to clearly focus and apply that focus has taken a massive leap forward.
The force generated by practicing the set is beneficial for all aspects of life not just for the training and practice of Shaolin Kung Fu. All members of the Shaolin Wahnam family would find similar results, and more, from learning and practicing this set.
For everyone interested in the Iron Wire Set, I can only echo the comments of my brothers and sisters.
I learned the Set at the UK Summercamp last year and at the Wedding Celebrations Courses.
What an amazing Set!
In my Chi Flow, a part from the Iron Wire manifests, especially the 'forcing' or 'consolidating' the Chi into my fore-arms and hands.
This gives me quite some insight in how to practise the Iron Wire Set! By 'forcing', I don't mean to force it ofcourse.
Just be relaxed, practise the way you've been taught, and everything will fall into place, sooner or later.
I can actually feel and see a difference in my fore-arms, they are thicker, even though I am saying this about myself.
There is alot of Chi Flow between the different parts, to prevent any possible self-harm. For me personally this also manifests in the spiritual, it's hard to explain,
let's just say Chi Flow goes 'deep' with the Iron Wire Set. It is really wonderful.
Sifu is going to teach it again at the Valentine courses in Ireland next year:
