Dear Shaolin Wahnam Family
Below you will find a picture of the happy family members who completed the Wudang Sword course yesterday.
It was another truly amazing course. In 3 half-days we not only learned the full set, we also worked on picture perfect form for each pattern, practiced the flow method, discovered many applications and important principles, practiced two sword combat sequences and received Sigung's generous transmission of many secrets.
I really very much enjoyed the course and am looking forward to practicing the Wudang Sword over the coming months. As has been mentioned before, even if swords are not common today, this beautiful set adds another level of refinement to our Tai Chi Chuan skills. And thus I feel very lucky and privileged to have learned this set and to keep it alive.
Thank you Sigung for this amazing course and your generous transmission.
Thank you Joan Siguma for bringing the Wudang Sword to Ireland and for being such a wonderful host.
To everybody on the course - it has been much fun and a great enrichment training with you all.
Andrea
PS: The second picture shows Sipak Manuel and Sidai Leo practicing one of the sword combat sequences.
