        Dear Jolijn,

Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I was particularly moved to read:

And what is absolutely beautiful about practising Chi Kung, being healthy is only the beginning!
        and, subsequently,

the complete change in me has inspired people around me, and some of them just finished their first class with my Sifu, including my mother
Wishing you and your mother continued health and happiness,

        Kevin

These kind words of compassion are very valuable. I have had some very tough months of cleansing, and the presence and encouragement of my Shaolin Wahnam friends have been very important.

But also during these periods of cleansing I am actually lucky, because even the worst cleansing is still nothing compared to those years.

              Greetings and joy,
              Jolijn

                Dear Jolijn,

Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful story. I'm sure it will inspire many others.

Actually you already have inspired someone - a new chi kung healing client, and student of mine who knows you from a forum for this health condition.

Your lovely post will help him even more, as I think he will identify with the scepticism, doubt and anger you felt when you were ill; the great progress you've made since then will certainly give him encouragement and hope.

Many congratulations to you and your Sifu

Wishing you continued joy on your journey to full health

                Fleur

                    'I smile, I meet new people, I dance, I enjoy, I live’

                    Dear Jolijn,

Your story is such an inspiration, I’m so happy for you. ‘I smile, I meet new people, I dance, I enjoy, I live’. That is so awesome

Your story also made me realize again how privileged we are to be guided by our great Sifu’s. To have Siheng Darryl in Amsterdam is such a gift…and a lot of laughter yes

It was very good that you dropped by for tea after the kungfu class last Monday. So good to see you shining

                      Congratulations!

                      Dear Jolijn,

As your friend I would love to openly congratulate you with your great achievements!

When we met six years ago you weren't yet experiencing any health problems. But then you started showing the symptoms of your disease. I witnessed your anxiety, feelings of panic and desperation. I cared for you and seeing you like that made me sad.
But I also witnessed you strength! Your will to live! Your faith in the future, your faith in life. Dissapointment after dissapointment you always kept being positive and looking for solutions instead of getting totally depressed. I have admired that part of you very much.

And here you are now. Shining like a star, Smiling, vibrant, celebrating life. Reading your post touches my heart and makes me feel intensely blessed that the two of us decided to start practising these arts 1, 5 years ago. Your enthusiasm and zest for life radiate, and I am sure it will benefit everyone around you including myself. Seeing you like this makes me very happy

Dear Jolijn, Congratulations for what you have achieved! Your dedicated practice and faith have now rewarded you. You deserve it! And yes, it is only the beginning. Let the blossoming begin And who knows, what once looked like a curse could once be seen as a gift after all. Because without this disease, you'd probably never started practicing at all.

Besides congratulating you, I would also like to take this oppurtunity to thank Siheng Darryl from the bottom of my heart for being such a fantastic teacher. I feel very blessed for having him so nearby and receiving weekly classes.

                        Jolign,

Thank you very much for sharing your story.

I certainly hope that many people can read or hear about it so they can be inspired to have hope regarding the power of our Arts.

I don't think that these types of stories can be told too often.

                        Best wishes.

                          Dear Jolign,

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences. One of the wonderful effects of Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung is the ability to allow us to enjoy life. When life becomes hard through physical illness it is common for the person to suffer more through emotional suffering. As we know this can create further suffering and further decline with the illness, thus a spiral starts.

Chi Kung, as we practice and teach, allows this spiral to stop through giving us an opportunity to enjoy life again on a day to day, moment by moment level. As our heart opens, our mind settles and our chi flows we find happiness and peace of mind, finding health becomes easier.

I am so happy for you that you are a good student and have a great teacher.

                          Best wishes to you.

                            Dear Jolijn,

Thank you for sharing, stories like these are never enough. People need all the inspiration they can get, and you've just given us a lot.

Who knows, one day you may even forgive your disease, and perhaps even thank it for bringing you to the shaolin arts.

                            Thank you!
