Actually, I intended to write on this topic before, but I feel now that I have a reason.
Recently I was moving to a new house and I cleaned a lot of cupboards. One of them was my medical drawer. I found a lot of different medicine, including harmless like aspirin, less harmless, like antibiotics, and herbal medicine for all kind of things. I also found a lot of vitamins, including ginseng and royal jelly.
When I saw of this I looked at the expiry dates and I realised that most of this stuff was expired. I suddenly remembered how I used to take vitamins and ginseng every morning; because I thought that without this I would not survive the day. So what happened? I took this entire staff and put it in the dust bin, apart from those that I brought to the pharmacy for proper decontamination.
I was thinking about how much money I spent on all of these things. Most of the drugs were subscribed, which means there were doctor fees involved and time to make an appointment to go to see the doctor etc.
So what changed in my life? I was VERY lucky to meet Sifu and to do a Chi Kung course with him. I was VERY lucky to see the beautify and the profoundness of this Art. And I was VERY lucky to having had realised that my daily practice is much more helpful than all the drugs, much more cost effective and besides, it makes more fun.
So, when I do a three circle stance near the river where I live and I feel the river and the forest energy flow sparkling though my veins and meridians and I feel how the internal force is a divine force and how it grows within me. So why, do I ask myself, why do I need something else? Because we are all divine beings and Chi Kung helps our divine spirit to manifest itself within us, why do we need some artificial additives? Chi Kung is the highest Art and there is nothing else you need.
