Woke up this morning feeling pretty lustful so I ended up just doing Lifting the Sky and Chi Flow/ Standing Med. I can still feel negative energy bubbling up, my lips are really chapped to the point where it is painful and I get easily irritated and annoyed right now. I think a big part of this is due to stress over finals since I am afraid I may not finish studying all I need to study in time. I still feel lots of energy though although I think that my insecurities are still getting the better of me right now. A friend of mine got a big job offer right off the bat and it sort of makes me feel like there is something wrong with me because I didn't get the same treatment.
I'll clear this.

Well after taking a nap, realizing I was being a dick to my mother and apologized I feel a lot better emotionally. I feel strangely enough, extremely tired though but that negative energy gushing out of me every time I opened my mouth is gone. This is probably all some sort of cleansing, something I expected to happen after the Sinew Met course. I still want to practice Pushing Mountains and Stance Training though but I'll definitely take more naps in-between studying for finals.

Ended up practicing Lifting the Sky instead of Pushing mountains this morning due to lustful energies. I feel a little pain around the ming men area. hamstrings are really tight. and a clearing sensation over the heart. I swayed back and forth a little bit during three circle stance but felt my fingers expanding and a clear but mild chi flow in-between the fingers.
My prayer and mantra chanting helped made me less irritable and also eased the feeling over my heart.

Got tired over stressing out over finals. Managed to get some studying done when I stopped intellectualizing. I went into a brief chi flow and felt that I should lie down. Lying down I simply relaxed and went into a meditative state of mind I enjoyed my breathing and found that when I did so the energy flow inside seemed to clear blockages a lot better. I felt my body expand and when random images and ringing noises came into my head I simply returned to my breathing and enjoyed it. Both my hands seemed to disappear and afterwards I feel a lot more energized as well as have better mental clarity. I will probably bring my focus to my breathing again and enjoy it if I ever start having those "I'm somebody else" moments because those tend to be a bit distracting.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Morning practice went well, I felt a noticeable layer of chi during pushing mountains and have felt sore hamstrings, sore ming men area, episodes of fatigue, and the sensation that my energy flow is trying to push out "cold" energy out of my feet. Sense of chi in between fingers while doing Three Circle, still some slight swaying in general during standing med.

The day of truth: finals day. To my great surprise I woke up around 1:00 in the morning and finding that it would be beneficial to drive the hour or so to where my school is so I can study I did so. It's almost 1:00 in the afternoon right now and after all the frustration and cleansing and fatigue I find that I have done extremely well on all my finals and I will be taking the last one in thirty minutes. I am quite pleased to say that after one session of Lifting the Sky and a one hour nap I feel quite energized and don't feel the slightest fatigue at all.
One thing that I try to keep in mind while taking my finals is to enter a chi kung state of mind. I just tell myself to "let it flow" and my body relaxes and sometimes I sway a tiny bit while smiling from the heart.

Had a wonderful morning practice session filled with lots of energy. I made some strange sounds during chi flow and I felt the sounds clearing up blockages in my chest and then going up my nose and clearing out my head. I also went at around 10 in the morning to meet a friend learning Tai Chi form and after practicing with him I learned a bit of some low level chi kung to clear up energy flow to the hands, wrists and arms, I swayed a little when rotating knees, and enjoyed an interesting form of zhan zhuang he showed me which I did carefully.
I'm starting to wonder whether or not I should pick up the 24 Yang Style form again and practice it regularly.

Had a suddenly tired and then suddenly really really hungry episode. I feel some sort of blockage trying to clear over my heart. It's a bit uncomfortable but I'll deal.

Last night had some pretty uncomfortable cleansing, although it was not necessarily painful it was enough to make it hard to sleep. Felt real tired last night and also tired waking up. After morning practice though I feel charged and full of energy and vitality. I practiced only Lifting the Sky and a brief few moments of Three Circle, just to keep things on the safe side. Will probably do Pushing Mountains at night.
I figure I'll hold off seriously practicing the 24 Yang set until my body can handle Normal Sinew Metamorphosis. During the Las Vegas course I could only flick my fingers twice before falling over

Last night during chi flow I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and some more cleansing over my heart. This morning I woke up lustful so I ended up just doing Lifting the Sky, I felt tired and hungry, took a nap and feel energy pouring into my feet and hands as they expand.
^_^ Well, I'll keep trying my best even though my progress feels kind of rocky.

Felt real down myself for a little bit of time. Then afterwards I was able to stand up and tell myself that there is a greatness and nobility inside me. It helps and strangely enough I had another tired, then really hungry episode and just consumed a pretty enormous amount of food: a veggie burger, three pancakes, and a biscuit.
Going to practice Sinew Metamorphosis tonight outside, I'm pretty excited.

This morning woke up with a lower back that hasn't been this sore, well since Sifu's course. Last night the Sinew Metamorphosis session went pretty well, although I didn't feel as powerful a cleansing as I did with Sifu that's expected. Nevertheless I felt a pretty powerful chi flow by the second flick and I figure I can probably handle practicing this alternate version every two days or so.
Going out to practice Pushing Mountains and Stance training outside again.
My father just recovered from a bad stomach flu in a day. He looked at me for a moment all upset and told me that he was getting old. I felt sad but also wanted to laugh inside, because if the situation were reverse I would probably feel the same way. Well my prayers were answered and he's back on his feet in no less than a day. I'm still trying to get him to learn from Sifu but this sort of scheme takes time.
