I chose to revive this thread, because this is a very special day for me - my first Wahnam birthday! 365 days ago I was in Winterthur, practicing Chi Kung with Sifu Wong and many Wahnam brothers and sisters.

In truth, it would be very difficult to write a summarization of what has happened since. My life has changed more than I ever dared to anticipate, but in such a subtle manner it's often difficult for me to realize my own development.

The reason I brought this up is because this is a perfect moment to say thank you.

Thank you, Sifu, for - simply - everything! Please forgive me, I really find no proper words to express my gratitude.

Thank you, Sihing Andrew, for organizing and implementing such a magnificent course!

Thank you, all of you, who shared the course with me! I hope you've found your own path - and I also hope I'll meet you again some day.

And last but not least, thank you, Sihing Markus! The skills I learned truly surfaced when I started to practice with you, and you've always given me much more than I've asked for.

I'm quite convinced there are many more birthdays to come.

My name is Tapio, I'm a 22 years young Chen style taijiquan practitioner from a far away country known as "Finland". ... I've been extremely interested in (Chinese) martial arts and especially internal martial arts all my life....I practised Yang style - or "wushu" style to be more exact - for a while, but after January my main priority has been Chen style with sifu Liu Shaohua (lineage for those who are interested: Chen Fake -> Chen Zhaokui -> Ma Hong -> Liu Shaohua). Taijiquan and the internal arts are really a passion of mine! I'm feel I'm progressing steadily, but my taijiquan is still extremely physical and my internal skill is so low it's not even funny. To develop it I've started a regular practise of zhan zhuang and qigong - I also practise some patterns like Lifting the
Sky from sifu Wong's magnificent books.
Good Day Tapio; long time no see

I wonder how is going with your training in Finland? Do you still train Tai Chi or any other Martial Art, or with teacher Markus Kahila?

Or maybe you are now married, and maybe that had take you all the time, and you train only by yourselft?

Any way may you have a good calm life!

      Regards
