So is it worth practising things like knife defence then? Well in relation to football I have heard managers of countries who are not so good at shootouts, say that they don't really practise penalties because its impossible to practice them as you can't recreate the atmoshpere in the stadium, the pressure etc. Then they asked the Germans (who always win penalty shootouts!) if that was true and they said "We practice them every day!"
