  • Hello Wahnam Familiy

First let me tell you, my name has nothing to do with hitting something . Beat is usual firstname in Switzerland (as fas as i know only in Switzerland).

I started my mariatl arts experiences as child with Judo. At the age of 17 i started with Choy Lee Fatt at Chin Woo Athletic Organsiation Switzerland. After a longer break i started with Tai Chi Yang Style (they called it authentic Yang style, what ever that's mean ) for one or two years. But after that an old dream comes true and i started with Wing Tsun. I practice a few years Wing Tsun but i found my own company and got lack of time for Wing Tsun.

Some years i practice buddhistic meditation from the tibetan Karma Karyu school.

Last year i decided to start again with chinese martial arts. i'm glad to find a teacher in my City and started to practice Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan.

I hope to find here many gentle people.

    Greetings Beat

                          Welcome

Welcome Spencermk, nice to see someone from near my neck of the woods on the board.

If you would like perhaps you could elaborate a bit on your experience of practising chi kung and perhaps sign with your name,I feel it helps to get to know people better.

I am in Delaware just over the Bay. Warmly Gusty

Getting to know the extended family

                            Hey Gusty

Well Im 20 years old now. I began practicing Muay Thai when I was 13 so that ignited my fire for martial arts and cool things like that
Ive been a practicioner of bon buddhism for much longer so my base of chi kung comes mainly from those expireinces of meditation and breathwork.. Although its been a bumpy road for merging the two disciplines of Martial arts and Mediation. A fun road, But bumpy nonthe less..

My Aunt practiced authentic Chinese kung fu for a longtime under a teacher who was very dedicated, I dont know his name or lineage or anything of that sort, It be cool to find out tho now that im in this arena of learning...So she taught me, basic posture, breathing with movement, and now iv discovered 8 brocade..

I wonder if theres any other practicioners around here? Rva..
Also Im knew to this kwoon,( and a bit computer illit, so Im not familiar with how to start a thread)
Would Any one point that out for me?

                            Thanks Y'all

                            Spencer
