During the Chi Kung course in Venezuela on the month of May which was taught by Sifu Piti. One of the students, Christian started to fell that a mole in his back itched as soon as he was doing the Chi Kung exercises. He mention that never before he had that itching sensation and I decided to tell him that it was better for him to go and see a Doctor to understand why the mole was itching.
To our surprise the doctor told him that the mole had to be removed and a biopsy had to be performed because it had grown to be a Melanoma which is the generic name of tumors or pigmented Melano. A Melanoma is a serious variety of cancer skin, causing the most deaths related to skin cancer. This is a typically Cutis tumor, but also of the intestine and the eye (uveal melanoma) and highly invasive because of its ability to generate metastases. Despite several years of extensive research, the only effective treatment is surgical resection of the primary tumor before it achieves a thickness greater than 1 mm.
The good news is that the doctor told him that his body had already started to attack the Melanoma and the body was able to control its growth and actually started to kill the Melanoma. I am very happy that Chi Kung at the level that our school teaches it has help another person live its life to the fullest. I will ask him also to write his story so I can share it with all my brothers and sisters in the Saholin Wahnam Institute.
