  • Fo Guang Temple/Chinese New Year

    Dear Shaolin Wahnam family

    I had the pleasure today to visit the Fo Guang Temple in the heart of London with Sije and the energy there is beautiful. The Bodhidharma statue welcomes you and leads up to the Infinite light from Amituofo accompanied by the compassion radiating from Guan Shi Yin Pu Sa.

    I have posted a link below if anyone is interested as they will be celebrating Chinese New Year and the Chinese Lantern Festival along with chanting on Amitabha Sutra and Diamond Sutra:

    London Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple 倫敦佛光山

    In addition there will also be a fantastic celebration at Trafalgar Square and China Town on 29th Jan to mark the year of the dragon!

    I look forward to seeing you there.

    Much love and blessings to all,

    Namo Amituofo Namo Amituofo Namo Amituofo

    “So I say to you –
    This is how to contemplate our conditioned existence in this fleeting world:”

    “Like a tiny drop of dew, or a bubble floating in a stream;
    Like a flash of lightning in a summer cloud,
    Or a flickering lamp, an illusion, a phantom, or a dream.”

    “So is all conditioned existence to be seen.”

    Thus spoke Buddha.
